Active Space Technologies moves to Coimbra

Following its expansion strategy, Active Space Technologies is moving into a new office in Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) in Coimbra. This change reflects not only the current growth of the company but also its future expansion prospects. Having reached its 2nd year of activity, Active Space Technologies consider this change to be a milestone in the solidification of its corporate project and in the sustained broadening of its business areas. Active Space Technologies has been recording increasing numbers not only in projects but also in collaborators of its working team. As such, this moving into a new office will provide the working conditions that allow a greater role in the space market and a better competitiveness as a service provider.

Active Space Technologies is one of the SMEs selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) to represent Portugal in the Industry Space Days event, which will take place in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, on May 29-31. This preference reflects the acknowledgement by the European space industry to the company’s activities. Active Space Technologies has been expanding its business areas, being already established on the space sector with projects with ESA and Galileo Avionica among others, and presently providing engineering services also in the aeronautic, automotive, moulds, and energy sectors.
